Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, monitoring, and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
You will work closely with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, developers, and security teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions while ensuring high availability, security, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
This role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud services, Linux/Windows administration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, cloud security, automation, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Configure and administer Linux and Windows servers.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Implement Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads using Amazon ECS/EKS.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Perform production troubleshooting, incident response, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement cloud security best practices using IAM, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, and CloudTrail.
- Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and AWS services.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability, and cost.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Linux and Windows Server Administration.
- Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git.
- Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancer, NAT, Firewalls).
- Cloud monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
