WNS is seeking a data analyst who will translate raw P2P data into actionable insights that optimize spend, strengthen supplier performance, and de-risk our supply base, and be the force multiplier for our sourcing and category teams. This role involves supporting the implementation team, working closely with clients to ensure seamless deployment, and driving adoption of digital tools that enhance procurement efficiency.
Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Spend & Savings Analytics: Build recurring spend cubes; analyze PPV, maverick spend, and compliance to contracts; surface savings and leakage opportunities.
Data Mapping & Normalization: Map suppliers, materials, GL codes, cost centers, and categories (e.g., UNSPSC/CPV) across products
Dashboards & Reporting: Stand up intuitive Power BI dashboards and Excel reports for executives and category managers (drilldowns, filters, refresh schedules).
Stakeholder Enablement: Package insights as clear narratives with recommendations; run monthly readouts with Procurement, Finance, and Ops.
Support the end-to-end implementation of procurement digital tools for global clients, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
Work closely with client teams to understand business requirements and procurement workflows.
Provide training, and support to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and procurement analysts.
Experience & Required Skillsets:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of procurement processes, spend analytics tools, and procurement software.
2+ years in data analysis within procurement, supply chain, or finance
Strong Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, what-if analysis); comfort with large, messy datasets.
Power BI (basic): data modeling fundamentals, measures, slicers, and publishing to workspaces.
Demonstrated data mapping across multiple systems; mastery of supplier/category normalization.
Clear communicator—turns numbers into decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
QA / Test mindset: test plans, regression checks, and release notes for reports/dashboards.
Exposure in handling internal & external stakeholders, resolving critical issues.
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, other Analytics tools will be an added advantage.
