Job Description
Summary: Winland Foods is a company focused on enhancing industrial processes and systems. The Process Engineer role involves designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining processes to ensure production efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality while collaborating with various teams to improve manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Analyze workflows and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
- Support and measure adherence to continuous improvement systems (specifically Centerline, Clean Inspect Lubricate, Planned Maintenance, and Training)
- Lead and participate in process improvement projects
- Monitor process performance using data and KPIs
- Conduct statistical analyses to ensure processes meet specifications and quality standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in an Engineering role or related discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of safety and environmental standards
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving KPIs
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consumer-focused industry (retail, consumer goods, etc.)
