Quality Assurance Intern

They are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to assist in executing test cases, documenting defects, and supporting test preparation activities while gaining exposure to various applications and testing methodologies. Responsibilities: - Foundational skills in software testing practices and quality processes - Assists in executing test cases, documenting defects, and supporting test preparation activities with guidance from experienced QA team members - Participates in small to medium-sized projects as a team contributor to gain exposure to different applications, tools, and testing methodologies - Builds general knowledge of quality assurance concepts, business workflows, and system behavior through hands-on learning and mentorship - Works under close supervision with clearly defined tasks and objectives, following established QA standards and procedures - Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and senior QA staff to support overall product quality - Does not have leadership or coaching responsibilities Required Qualifications: - Engineering students with the ability to multi-task - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Sound analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide variety of engineers and product designers in a team structure Required Skills: Software testing practices, Quality assurance concepts, Lean Manufacturing principles, Agile development disciplines, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Test case execution, Defect documentation, Test preparation, Kanban, Unit testing, Data analysis, Design documentation, Analytical skills, Multi-tasking
