Windsor Drake→
Senior Advisor, M&A & Strategic… at Windsor Drake · New York
Job Description
Senior Advisor, M&A & Strategic Transactions
Independent | Remote | North America
Windsor Drake is an independent investment bank advising founder-led and lower-middle-market companies on sell-side mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
We are selectively expanding our senior advisory group and seeking accomplished investment bankers, corporate-development executives, private-equity professionals, and former CEOs or CFOs to participate in transactions where their experience, relationships, and judgment are directly relevant.
This is an independent, mandate-specific position designed for senior professionals who want to remain active in the market without assuming a full-time operating role.
Responsibilities
- Advise Windsor Drake and its clients on select M&A mandates
- Participate in management meetings, strategic positioning sessions, and buyer discussions
- Provide sector expertise and senior-level transaction judgment
- Make thoughtful introductions to relevant buyers, investors, executives, or industry participants
- Support transaction strategy, negotiation, and execution where appropriate
- Represent Windsor Drake with professionalism and discretion
Ideal Background
- 15+ years of relevant investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or senior operating experience
- Demonstrable experience completing M&A transactions, preferably in the lower-middle market
- Strong professional reputation and an established network of strategic buyers, financial sponsors, executives, or business owners
- Deep expertise in one or more sectors, particularly software, fintech and payments, technology-enabled services, healthcare, cybersecurity, or industrial technology
- Excellent judgment, communication skills, and client presence
- No material conflicts that would prevent participation in relevant mandates
Structure and Economics
This is an independent, success-based advisory position. There is no fixed salary or monthly retainer. Advisors receive a meaningful, pre-agreed share of fees earned on mandates in which they materially participate. Economics and responsibilities are documented in advance on a deal-by-deal basis.
The role is flexible and selective. It can complement existing board, consulting, investment, or portfolio responsibilities. It is not a junior origination, cold-calling, or full-time business-development position.
To Apply
Please provide a brief professional biography or LinkedIn profile, your principal areas of sector expertise, and examples of transactions in which you played a senior role. All inquiries will be treated confidentially.
Pay: Up to $750,000.00 per year
