Job Description
Summary: Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Casino Host specializing in Asian Marketing to enhance relationships with VIP customers in the Asian market. This role focuses on developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and delivering exceptional personalized service to guests.
Responsibilities:
- Extends complimentary items and services to guests by analyzing guest play within established guidelines
- Recruits new mid- and high-value players within the Asian market through direct mail, telemarketing, referrals, on-floor prospecting, community outreach, and off-site events
- Attracts, develops, and maintains relationships with target customers by delivering personalized guest service
- Greets and hosts assigned guests while they are on property
- Ensures assigned guests are enrolled in and actively using the Player's Club program
- Arranges appropriate complimentary services during guest visits
- Coordinates hotel accommodations, dining reservations, transportation, entertainment, and other guest services as appropriate
- Utilizes the Host Management System (HMS) to document guest interactions, track guest activity, and develop player relationships
- Monitors guest profitability while managing complimentary expenses responsibly
- Conducts outbound phone calls to invite guests to the property and special events
- Markets and fills casino promotions, tournaments, special events, and hosted events
- Participates in on-property and off-property player development events
- Creates an atmosphere of excitement by recognizing and celebrating guest wins
- Appropriately resolves guest service concerns while providing exceptional customer service
- Achieves established production goals and departmental objectives
- Maintains confidentiality of guest information and protects Player's Club accounts and promotional offers
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Zero (0) to Two (2) years of hospitality or related experience - required
- Ability to speak fluently in one or more Asian languages (such as Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, or another applicable dialect) - required
- Must successfully pass the job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must possess excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Must be friendly, highly energized, and self-motivated
- Must be able to achieve production goals while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be able to professionally resolve guest service issues and recover guest relationships
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire shift
- Must work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Must be willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must possess an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain one) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a condition of continued employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established player following
- Experience with Casino Player Management Systems or Host Management Systems
