Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Automation Dispatch Stager is responsible for identifying the physical inventory of molded requirements for current production schedule and physical loading requirements to the automated lines.
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Review production schedules, job tickets, and slab maps to meet molded requirements and maximize material yield.
Operate automation equipment, forklifts, saws, routers, edge finishers, CNC machinery, and other production equipment as assigned.
Safely move and process slabs and cut pieces through saws, waterjets, finishing lines, and automation cells.
Inspect materials and finished pieces for dimensional and visual quality; identify non-conforming product for MRB review.
Pack and label finished parts using the appropriate materials and in accordance with job ticket requirements.
Perform minor equipment diagnostics and maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Follow all safety, quality, and production standards while meeting or exceeding established output expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to demonstrate comprehension of positional work instructions
Ability to read piece tickets and slab maps produced by proprietary system for production requirements
Able to read and adhere to a production schedule
Able to accurately record inventory and verify product type and validate piece dimensions utilizing a calibrated tape measure
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate with hourly employees and management personnel
Capable of becoming forklift certified
Able to work overtime including weekends
Measure by weight (g/lb) using scales and basic math
Ability to learn AUTOMATION Software and perform basic computer functions
Ability to effectively communicate within a team
Ability to collect and document all needed data at assigned workstation using the appropriate forms
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
High School degree or GED required
Minimum 6 months’ work experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. repetitively
Able to stand, stoop, bend and reach overhead repetitively
Ability to tolerate working near running machinery, coolant systems, and moderate noise levels, with proper PPE
