- Translate complex field data into practical, visual dashboards and operational outputs to support adaptive management decisions by park leadership.
- Support the biomonitoring department with survey implementation, rigorous data collection and management, and data analysis workflows.
- Support data analyses and mapping for reporting and evidence-based decision-making by park management.
- Participate in field deployments to calibrate technical equipment, standardize monitoring protocols on the ground, and support field teams directly.
- Ensure all scientific and monitoring outputs feed directly into donor reporting and long-term landscape strategy.
Internal Technical Support & Special Program Capacity Building
- Conservation & Pastoralism (CoPa) Teams Support: Provide targeted training and hands-on capacity building for CoPa teams to ensure they effectively use, manage, and maintain rigorous data quality standards for both KoboCollect and EarthRanger data streams.
- Community Conservancies / Conservation Committees (CoCo) Teams Support: Train and backstop CoCo field teams on the proper use of KoboCollect, ensuring they understand how to systematically download, back up, and store their collected field data correctly.
- Identify technical weak points or bottlenecks in departmental planning, data use, and reporting execution.
- Develop simple, practical tools, templates, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) utilizing institutional frameworks to streamline workflows.
