Intern - Software Development Summer 2026 at WGI in US-TX-Austin

Summary: WGI is looking for a Summer intern to work with their Center for Innovation team in Austin, Texas. The role involves supporting in-house application development and automation initiatives while gaining hands-on experience that bridges the gap between academics and the professional work environment. Responsibilities: - Working on challenging projects that require collaboration within and among various departments - Contribute to team projects and individual tasks assigned in support of internal software development initiatives - Assist with development and maintenance of in-house applications and automation tools - Support debugging, testing, and documentation of internal software solutions - Must be punctual, dependable and follow company policy and guidelines - Additional responsibilities may be given based on experience Required Qualifications: - Must have completed at least two years from an accredited college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - Solid PC skills and the ability to use Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) - Must be punctual, dependable and follow company policy and guidelines - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S on a full-time basis.
