Intern - Software Development Summer 2026 at WGI in Austin, TX

Summary: WGI is a top consulting firm looking for a Summer intern to join their Center for Innovation team in Austin, Texas. The intern will gain hands-on experience in application development and automation initiatives, contributing to team projects and supporting the maintenance of in-house applications. Responsibilities: - Working on challenging projects that require collaboration within and among various departments - Contribute to team projects and individual tasks assigned in support of internal software development initiatives - Assist with development and maintenance of in-house applications and automation tools - Support debugging, testing, and documentation of internal software solutions - Must be punctual, dependable and follow company policy and guidelines - Additional responsibilities may be given based on experience Required Qualifications: - Must have completed at least two years from an accredited college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - Solid PC skills and the ability to use Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) - Must be punctual, dependable and follow company policy and guidelines - Must be able to adapt to, and work in varied environments including indoors, outdoors, and project locations - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S on a full-time basis.
