Private Adviser
Location: Westpac on Takutai Square
Monday to Friday
Based at Takutai Square | Britomart, Auckland CBD
Base + 10% Superannuation & banking benefits
Mō te Tūranga – About the role
You will bring strong lending expertise and be confident supporting clients with residential lending and more complex borrowing requirements. You'll draw on your understanding of the broader Private Wealth proposition, including banking, lending, investments and wealth solutions, to deliver exceptional outcomes for high-net-worth clients and their families. You will work with your own Private Associate/Senior Private Associate, fostering an operating rhythm that ensures you are supporting each other to meet your client’s needs.
Within the role, you will take a holistic approach to understanding your clients' financial goals, helping them build, manage, protect and grow their wealth over time. Working closely with specialists across Westpac, you will deliver tailored solutions that support both their immediate banking needs and long-term aspirations.

Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? – What do I need to be successful?
5+ years' experience in banking, private banking, wealth management, financial services, or relationship banking, with strong experience in lending and customer relationship management
A relevant tertiary qualification preferred. Level 5 Financial Services Qualification required or open to obtaining.
Ability to interpret and translate technical material Including financial statements.
A customer centric attitude.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills as well as networking abilities both internally and externally.
Demonstrated a strong in market approach with a proven ability to identify opportunities.
