WRITING CENTER STUDENT POSITIONS

Are you a strong writer who enjoys helping others grow their skills? Join Westminster’s Writing Center team and be part of a collaborative, supportive environment where students become more confident, capable communicators across all disciplines.
Applicants are required to have completed LMW 310 Theory and Teaching of Writing to be eligible for Writing Center positions
Positions:
Student Employee Level II – Peer Support & Tutoring
• Writing Center Consultant $12.50 – Currently Hiring
Work one-on-one with students at any stage of the writing process—from brainstorming to final revisions—across a range of academic subjects and assignments.
Student Employee Level III – Leadership & Specialized Support
• Writing Center Assistant Director $13.50 – Not Currently Available
Support operations, mentor consultants, and assist with training, scheduling, and outreach initiatives to grow writing support services on campus.
• Graduate Writing Consultant $13.50 – Not Currently Available
Provide in-depth writing support for graduate students, including guidance on research writing, capstones, and discipline-specific formatting and conventions.

• Interested in education, writing, editing, or peer mentoring
• Excited to grow as a tutor, team member, and campus leader
