The Talent Acquisition Technology Specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition systems, including SmartRecruiters, Workday, and Clickboarding.
This role serves as a critical partner to recruiters, hiring leaders, and TA Operations by designing scalable workflows, enhancing system functionality, and improving end-to-end recruiting processes.
The TA Technology Specialis will also support and lead project-based initiatives, including system enhancements, integrations, and implementation efforts aligned to the broader TA technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Optimization
Serve as a primary system administrator for SmartRecruiters, Workday (Recruiting/Onboarding), and Clickboarding
Configure and maintain:
Workflows (requisition, interview, offer, onboarding/preboarding)
Templates, forms, and automation rules
User roles, permissions, and access governance
Troubleshoot system issues and partner with vendors to resolve escalations
Ensure systems are aligned with global compliance and process standards
Workflow & Process Design
Assist in designing and optimizing end-to-end recruiting workflows across systems
Translate business requirements into scalable system configurations
Partner with TA, HR, and business stakeholders to:
Improve efficiency
Reduce manual processes
Enhance candidate and hiring leader experience
Identify and implement automation opportunities (AI, integrations, triggers)
Technology & Continuous Improvement
Evaluate and recommend system enhancements and new capabilities
Support activation and optimization of platform features (e.g., AI tools, analytics, messaging)
Monitor system usage and adoption; recommend improvements based on data insights
Maintain documentation for workflows, configurations, and SOPs
Project Management & Implementation Support
Support and manage workstreams within larger TA technology initiatives
Manage project activities including:
Requirements gathering
Timeline tracking
Stakeholder communication
Testing (UAT) and deployment support
Partner cross-functionally with HRIS, IT, vendors, and TA leadership
Contribute to system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
Data, Reporting & Insights
Support reporting and data integrity across TA systems
Partner with compliance teams on TA related data audits
Partner with TA Analytics to ensure clean, reliable data flows
Assist in building or validating dashboards and reporting outputs
qualifications
Required
Extensive experience in TA Operations, HRIS, or Recruiting Systems
Hands-on experience with:
SmartRecruiters (configuration and administration)
Workday (Recruiting and/or HCM workflows)
Clickboarding or similar onboarding tools
Experience configuring workflows, templates, and system automation
Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Strong understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes
Ability to translate business needs into technical/system solutions and driving change management
Preferred
Experience supporting ATS implementations or system migrations
Exposure to AI-enabled recruiting tools (e.g., matching, screening, scheduling, chatbots)
Familiarity with global recruiting operations and compliance considerations
Experience with integrations between ATS, HCM, and onboarding platforms

Ability to manage and continuously re-prioritize tasks to ensure optimal efficiency
This is a contract opportunity with an anticipated hourly pay range of $55.00 – $65.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skill set, and other job-related factors.
