What you'll do:
In this role, you'll help launch the Global Markets middle office function. You'll be a system administrator of the Foreign Exchange (FX) system, working independently and and with clients or external bank teams for general assistance and to stage, set-up, or amend bulk files/requests of FX trades and/or settlement instructions. Additionally, you'll oversee currency and currency pairs, client spreads/pricing/margins as well as their administration/setup in the FX application. You'll also evaluate Correspondent bank data, including netting.
Reporting maintenance of monthly/regular statistics and revenue for FX (Back office and Front office), Interest Rate Derivative (IRD) and Trade Finance (L/Cs). KRI (Key Risk Indicators) affirmations and simple Risk Reporting. QFC (Qualified Financial Contract) reporting and reconciliation. Complete and “independently audit” files and folders for new IRD transactions. External Audit confirmations from clients and counterparty FIs/Banks.
Provide back-up of FX Back Office members when needed. Assist the GMG’s Senior Business Risk Manager and Director of Platforms and Strategy when required to gather information or liaise with external teams for new/modified or general risk and control initiatives. Assist with testing of all application upgrades and hotfixes.
Working with the Treasury’s Funding Desk and IRD team, assist with settlements of: Cap premium payments to dealer/from client to ensure everything lands in the right spot, Termination settlements (similar to cap premium payments), Manual (dealer) wires for interest settlements if needed, ACH payment research and resolution.
What you'll need:
2+ years of related experience in Treasury or Middle Office or similar field.
Bachelor's degree in related field required.
Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
Entry level to intermediate experience in a Foreign Exchange (FX), Trade Finance (L/Cs) or Interest Rate Derivative (IRD) environment as a Trader or a Back Office Specialist. Other general banking experience would prove beneficial.
Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $85,000.00 - $105,489.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
