Summary: West Monroe is searching for an Experienced Consultant to join our growing Cybersecurity practice and focus on IT security advisory and solutions delivery for clients across various industries. This role involves providing strategic cybersecurity advisory services, conducting risk assessments, and developing recommendations for improving cybersecurity programs. Responsibilities: - Provide strategic cybersecurity advisory and consulting services for enterprise clients, ranging from policy definition to implementation, adoption, and enforcement - Deliver our Cybersecurity Advisory for Private Equity (CAPE) program/offering – to provide ongoing visibility into security practices, risks, and threats across a PE firm’s entire portfolio - Leverage industry-accepted frameworks for current-state risk/controls review of existing organizations – risk/compliance adherence, processes, technologies – while developing implementation strategies and roadmaps to guide solution delivery - Perform assessments, identify risks, highlight vulnerabilities, and determine a client’s ability to protect against attacks, detect active threats, and respond/recover from incidents - Develop recommendations and strategies for improving cyber security programs - Promote thought leadership in emerging cybersecurity technologies and best practices through activities like blogs, white papers, and attending industry events Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required - 1-4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Audit, or Tech Consulting - Background in any common cybersecurity domains – risk & compliance, privacy, strategy & operations, incident response, cloud security, network security, application security, data protection, identity and access management, etc - Comfortable conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Achieved or pursuit of cyber industry and technical certifications to support developing skills - Proficient verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills - Willingness to travel for out-of-town client engagements (10-25% travel) - Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: - Consulting firm/industry experience preferred, including developed client interviewing skills - Preference for experience working on security risk & controls assessment projects, leveraging industry-accepted frameworks such as NIST Required Skills: Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Audit, Tech Consulting, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Strategy, Operations, Incident Response, Cloud Security, Network Security, Application Security, Data Protection, Identity, Access Management, Security Risk, Controls Assessment, NIST Framework, Cybersecurity Certifications, Facilitation Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance., Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan., Employees can purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program., Employees will be eligible to receive annual bonuses., Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off., Employees will receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year., Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
