They are seeking an EHS Intern to assist with the implementation of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Program, while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. Responsibilities: - Assist with the implementation of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Program under the direction of the EHS Officer - Assists with implementation & improvement of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System - Assists with improvements to recycling, reuse, and waste reduction programs - Assist with improvements to the PPE assessments - Assist with the implementation of Environmental Objectives and Targets - Inspect fall protection & spill response equipment - Work with all departments to update chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s) in an online system - Assists with other projects, as assigned by the EHS Officer Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 2 college semesters complete - Ability to multitask - Interested in working in a manufacturing or laboratory setting in the Environmental, Health & Safety field upon graduation - Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal & organizational skills - Ability to work independently and multitask Required Skills: Environmental Health & Safety, ISO 14001 Important Skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: multitask
