Talent Pool | Maintenance Sales – M/F/X at WeMaintain · London

🌍 Who are we?

Operating across Europe and Asia, WeMaintain specialises in the maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, automatic doors and fire safety systems, combining on-the-ground expertise with technology and data.

Our approach is built on a simple belief: maintenance can be more reliable, transparent and efficient when teams have the right tools, the autonomy to make decisions and clear visibility over the equipment they look after.

Since 2026, Otis has been our majority shareholder. WeMaintain continues to operate independently, maintaining its own organisation and culture while benefiting from additional resources to support our growth.

The way we work is guided by three core values:

• Care: treating colleagues and customers with respect, consideration and responsibility
• Grit: seeing things through with determination, perseverance and high standards
• Uniqueness: embracing different perspectives, fresh ideas and new ways of doing things

Our ambition is to raise the standards of building maintenance, alongside the people who make it happen every day.

👀 Why are we building this Talent Pool?

This is not an advertisement for a currently open vacancy.

As WeMaintain continues to develop its UK operations, we're keen to connect with experienced sales professionals who specialise in lift maintenance services.

We're particularly interested in people who enjoy developing new business, building lasting customer relationships and offering a different approach to traditional lift maintenance.

Rather than waiting until a vacancy arises, we'd like to get to know professionals who might be interested in joining our commercial team in the future.

By joining our Talent Pool, you'll have the opportunity to hear about upcoming Maintenance Sales roles that could match your experience, preferred location and career aspirations.

When a relevant position becomes available, we may get in touch with the key details, including responsibilities, location, working arrangements and salary.

The idea? Let's get to know each other today, so we can explore working together when the right opportunity comes along.

🔎 The Maintenance Sales role at WeMaintain

As part of our Maintenance Sales team, you'll contribute to the growth of WeMaintain's UK business by identifying new commercial opportunities and helping customers find the right maintenance solutions for their buildings.

You'll combine a proactive business development approach with an understanding of the lift industry, customer needs and the importance of delivering reliable, transparent maintenance services.

Depending on the opportunity, your responsibilities could include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities for lift maintenance contracts across your geographical area
• Building relationships with property managers, facilities managers, managing agents and other key decision-makers
• Managing the sales process from initial prospecting and customer meetings through to proposals, negotiations and contract signature
• Understanding customers' technical and operational requirements, working closely with our Engineering and Operations teams to develop suitable solutions
• Preparing competitive proposals, responding to tenders and presenting WeMaintain's approach to prospective customers
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, forecasting opportunities and contributing to commercial growth targets

The exact responsibilities, customer portfolio and geographical coverage will depend on the opportunity available.

🔧 What makes this role different at WeMaintain?

At WeMaintain, we're not simply selling maintenance contracts. We're offering customers a different way of looking after their buildings.

Here's what makes our approach different:

• A differentiated service proposition: combine technical expertise, transparency and technology to offer customers more visibility and control over their equipment
• Real commercial ownership: take responsibility for developing opportunities and building relationships, with the autonomy to shape your approach
• Close collaboration with Operations: work alongside engineers and operational teams who understand the technical realities behind our services
• The opportunity to make an impact: contribute directly to our UK growth and help strengthen our position in the maintenance market

This is a role for people who enjoy winning new business, understand the importance of building trust and know how to turn customer needs into long-term commercial relationships.

👑 Who are we looking for?

We'd love to connect with commercially driven professionals who understand the lift maintenance market and enjoy building business from the ground up.

The essentials

• Experience in B2B sales, business development or account management, ideally within lift maintenance or a related technical services industry
• A strong track record of identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships and winning new business
• Good commercial awareness, including experience preparing proposals, negotiating contracts and managing sales pipelines
• The ability to understand technical service requirements and communicate their value to customers
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Nice to have

• An established network within the UK lift, property management or facilities management sectors
• Experience selling multi-site or portfolio-based maintenance contracts
• Knowledge of lift maintenance operations, service level agreements and tender processes

These would certainly be advantages, but they're not all essential. If you have strong technical services sales experience and are interested in the lift industry, we'd still encourage you to apply.

🎁 What do we offer?

The exact package will depend on the opportunity available, but here's what future Maintenance Sales positions at WeMaintain UK may offer:

• A competitive base salary reflecting your experience, seniority and commercial responsibilities. For reference, a recent Senior Modernisation Sales Manager opportunity advertised £55,000 to £65,000 gross per annum
• A commercial role with genuine autonomy and ownership
• The opportunity to represent a differentiated maintenance proposition, supported by technology and technical expertise
• Close collaboration with our Engineering, Operations and commercial teams
• Opportunities for professional development and internal mobility
• A workplace pension scheme and annual leave in line with the applicable employment package

The exact salary, commission structure, location, working arrangements and benefits will be confirmed when a relevant opportunity becomes available.

🎯 What happens after you apply?

3. We get back in touch when a relevant opportunity arises

When a suitable Maintenance Sales position becomes available, we may contact you with the key details, including responsibilities, location, working arrangements and salary.

If the role sounds like a good fit, we'll take things forward together through the recruitment process with the relevant hiring team.
