Job Description
Summary: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Assistant as part of Consumer Banking and Lending Operations. The role involves reconciling and balancing accounts, resolving accounting issues, and collaborating with peers and managers to achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accounts
- Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions
- Resolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, related to balancing situations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Operational Accounting support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Account Reconciliation experience
- Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
- Experience performing extensive research to resolve complex inquiries
- Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
