Job Description
Summary: Wells Fargo is a leading financial services company seeking an Investment Banking Analyst for their New York Industrials team as part of the Corporate & Investment Bank. The role involves analyzing companies, developing strategies, building financial models, and preparing client presentations while collaborating with team members and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in analyzing companies, developing strategies for clients, and pulling and synthesizing market and industry research
- Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
- Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extracurricular activities
- Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
