Summary: Wellington Management is one of the world’s largest independent investment management firms, offering comprehensive investment management capabilities. The Systems Analyst will act as a Business Analyst within the Performance & Benchmark team, focusing on gathering and documenting requirements to support evolving technology and data platforms, including AI-enabled capabilities. Responsibilities: - · Partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for performance and benchmark technology initiatives - · Translate business and operational needs into clear, structured requirements, including features, background, and acceptance criteria - · Work closely with engineering teams throughout design and delivery to ensure requirements are well understood and solutions align with intended business outcomes - · Support solution design by helping identify data flows, dependencies, controls, and edge cases across upstream sources and downstream consumers - · Partner with QA and operations teams to support testing, validation, and reconciliation of system outputs against business and operational expectations - · Assist with analysis and triage of defects, data issues, or production incidents related to performance, benchmark, or analytics platforms - · Ensure documentation is maintained and kept current, including requirements, assumptions, data definitions, and process flows - · Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts by helping evolve requirement practices to support automated, scalable, and AI enabled solutions - · Collaborate effectively across teams and geographies, balancing multiple initiatives in a fast paced, business critical environment Required Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting technology driven solutions - Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for data intensive platforms - Experience working directly with engineering and QA teams across design, development, testing, and delivery - Ability to translate complex business and operational needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business, operations, and technology stakeholders - Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, evolving technical environment - Bachelor's degree required Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to investment data domains such as performance measurement, benchmarks, attribution, analytics, holdings, or transactions - Experience validating or reconciling system outputs (e.g., calculations, reports, or data feeds) against business expectations - Experience with scripting or programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL. etc - Familiarity with modern delivery and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence - Interest in, or exposure to, automation with AI assisted workflows Required Skills: Requirements gathering, Requirements analysis, Requirements documentation, Data intensive platforms, Collaboration with engineering teams, Collaboration with QA teams, User stories, Acceptance criteria, Investment data domains, System output validation, Python, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, AI-enabled solutions Benefits: Discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, Retirement plan, Health and wellbeing, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy coverage, Health savings account, Flexible spending accounts, Commuter program, Employee assistance program, Life and disability insurance, Adoption assistance, Back-up childcare, Tuition/CFA reimbursement, Paid time off (leave of absence, paid holidays, volunteer, sick and vacation time)
