Summary: WeLink Communications is building the future of home internet using advanced wireless technology to deliver fiber-like speeds without the fiber buildout. They are seeking skilled, safety-focused Field Installation Technicians who will install wireless internet equipment, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain a professional customer experience. Responsibilities: - Install wireless internet equipment including radios, routers, modems, and cabling - Perform rooftop installations using ladders and safety equipment - Run and secure cabling on residential properties - Configure routers and basic networking equipment - Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve service problems - Educate customers on their new internet service - Maintain a professional, customer-first experience - Daily work on rooftops and ladders at heights - Outdoor work in varying weather conditions - Physically active (lifting, climbing, carrying equipment) - Independent field work with minimal supervision Required Qualifications: - 6+ months of installation, telecom, construction, or trade experience - Basic understanding of networking (routers, Wi-Fi, connectivity) - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Comfortable working at heights (rooftops, ladders) - Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs - Strong attention to detail and safety awareness - Good communication and customer service skills - Valid driver's license with clean driving record (past 5 years) - Must be 21+ (vehicle requirements) - Ability to pass background check and drug screening - Comfortable using tools, equipment, and mobile devices - Easily capable of maneuvering from ladder to roof and roof to ladder Required Skills: Installation, Telecom, Construction, Trade experience, Networking, Router configuration, Wi-Fi, Connectivity troubleshooting, Use of tools, equipment, Mobile device usage, Working at heights, Physical strength, Safety awareness, Customer service Benefits: Company vehicle provided for work use, Tools and equipment provided, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO + 11 paid holidays, Short-term & long-term disability
