New Client Development Intern at Wealth Enhancement in Remote

Summary: Wealth Enhancement is an independent wealth management firm dedicated to enriching the lives of clients through personalized financial planning. The New Client Development Intern will support the growth of the advisor channel by contributing to sales proposals, financial planning preparation, and new client onboarding while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities: - Learn how to effectively use MoneyGuidePro to build financial plans and to develop sales proposals - Partner with New Client Development team to understand company brand and messaging, company service offerings, and current marketing channels - Shadow team members to learn how to conduct follow-up calls with prospects - With manager/team support and oversight, intern will independently conduct follow-up calls with prospects - Support team with onboarding new clients and case submissions using Salesforce - Track case submissions in Salesforce, ensuring tasks are executed in a timely manner - Enter data and upload documents into Salesforce to support new client onboarding efforts - Sit in on advisor coaching meetings with growth consultants - Accurately record meeting notes and share with team after each meeting - Send follow-up emails to advisor and growth consultants with outstanding tasks or requests Required Qualifications: - Preferably pursuing bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field - Preferably students between their junior and senior years - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization - Detail oriented, highly organized, problem solver, adaptable, and able to work autonomously Required Skills: MoneyGuidePro, Salesforce Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Problem solver, Written communication, Verbal communication, Detail oriented, Adaptable, Organized Benefits: Training and professional development, Wellness programs and resources, Worker's compensation – employer paid
