Job Description
Summary: We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Engineer- Gas Construction in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves project management tasks to drive projects through completion and support code compliance activities for pressure control facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Project manage the design and installation of pressure control facilities within budget and timelines
- Provide oversight of code compliance inspections related to pressure control and valve assembly facilities
- Provide technical decisions and/or oversight concerning system operation and maintenance activities as they relate to the gas distribution system
- Provide technical support to Field Operations on pressure control facilities
- Support integrity management functions and manage field assessments
- Evaluate and develop operational procedures and process improvements
- Provide computer based support during natural gas emergencies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (May 2026 Grads will be included)
- 0 to 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet company standards for driving
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Skills in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
- Natural gas experience
