Operate the compressor station in a safe and efficient manner. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Compressor Operator: (Journeyman $43.94/hour) Associate degree in an industrial or mechanical related field or equivalent work experience acceptable to the Company. Possess good mechanical and electrical aptitude and have proven human relations and computer skills. Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license and meet applicable DOT mandated commercial driver requirements (i.e. medical card). Lead Compressor Operator: (Journeyman $45.43/hour) In addition to the minimum qualifications of the Compressor Operator position, Lead Compressor Operator minimums include: Knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities, processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations. 1 year experience as a Journeyman Compressor Operator. Electrical Qualification Level 1 EQ as per the WBI Safe Practices Manual. Successfully complete required T-3 Operator Qualifications and cross-department training. Successfully completed an advanced Natural Gas Engine or Compressor course (ie. Combustion, Turbine, Compressor). Successfully completed Advanced Compressor Operator Skills Checklist.
