Position Summary We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is an opportunity for an individual who is customer-focused, organized, and skilled in managing accounts receivable and collection activities while maintaining positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Contact customers regarding past-due balances via phone, email, and written correspondence Review and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances Accept and process customer payments and update account information accurately Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries Document collection activity and maintain accurate records in internal systems Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve account and service-related issues Provide professional, respectful, and solution-focused customer service at all times What We Need From You 1+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Professional phone presence and problem-solving skill What You’ll Get From Us Competitive compensation at $22/hour Opportunity to convert to permanent employment 401(k) with company match Comprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
