Summary: Wasserman is a leading global sports, music, and entertainment company, and they are seeking a Spring MBA Intern for Wasserman Ventures. This role involves investment analysis, due diligence, market research, and portfolio management within the strategic venture capital arm of the company. Responsibilities: - Evaluate inbound opportunities on an investment basis (problem, solution, market demand, differentiation, unit economics, risks, etc.) - Conduct due diligence across product, market, competitive space, go-to-market, and strategic fit - Interface broadly with Wasserman employees to understand key priorities for their respective teams/verticals - Support Wasserman Ventures’ internal processes including pipeline tracking and the preparation of investment briefs and presentations - Produce market research and develop original theses around Wasserman Ventures’ core investment verticals - Assist with portfolio monitoring and material updates (KPIs, milestones, financing events, product updates, etc.) - Prepare monthly portfolio updates for presentation to Investment Committee - Manage commercial relationships between portfolio companies and other Wasserman teams - Coordinate with internal Wasserman employees in relevant categories to ascertain industry perspectives on potential investments Required Qualifications: - Current MBA candidate with Spring internship availability - Prior exposure to investing, strategy, consulting, banking, operating roles, or other high-level analytical work - Adeptness with Excel and PowerPoint - Strong writing ability - Genuine interest in sports, media, entertainment, consumer, and technology-enabled services Required Skills: Investment analysis, Market research, Portfolio management Important Skills: Excel proficiency, PowerPoint proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Interest in sports, Interest in entertainment, Interest in technology, writing ability, Collaboration skills
