Job Description
Position Summary:
Wasauksing First Nation is accepting applications for a Data Entry Clerk. Under the supervision of the Supervisor for the Child Wellbeing Program, a data entry
clerk is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate information in
company databases, spreadsheets, or systems. Key tasks include transcribing data
from source documents, verifying accuracy, identifying errors, and adhering to data
confidentiality protocols. Ideal candidates have high typing speeds, excellent
attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office/Google/data software.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Database management
- Updating existing records,
- Deleting unused files
- Organizing information for easy access
- Information security
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive data while complying with data integrity and security protocols
- Office support
- Scanning, printing, and filing physical documents
- Operating office equipment
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Wasauksing First Nation and any other relevant policies and procedures from external agencies and partners
- Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
Education & Experience:
- Typing Speed/accuracy, high speed {40-50 + WPM with minimal errors
- Software proficiency, familiarity with Google/Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and database management software
- Attention to detail, ability to spot inconsistencies and errors in large volumes of data
- Organization, strong file management skills
- Education, high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle
- Willing to work flexible hours as required, including evenings and weekends
- This position requires the individual to work with various families, youth and children. To protect children, youth and vulnerable persons, Wasauksing First Nation requires the individual to provide a vulnerable sector. Or criminal record check
