As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will expand your education in structural engineering and participate in various architectural projects. Responsibilities: - Participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings - Eligible to participate in our in-house staff development program Required Qualifications: - A sound technical background, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures are required - BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering - Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis - Excellent verbal and written communication skill required - Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: - EIT preferred Required Skills: Civil Engineering Important Skills: EIT certification Nice-to-Have Skills: Enthusiasm for design, communication skills, Flexible scheduling Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefit packages
