Summary: Walter P Moore is an international company of engineers, architects, innovators, and creative people who solve some of the world’s most complex structural and infrastructure challenges. As an engineering intern in the structural engineering group, you will participate on project teams for various architectural projects and be eligible for the in-house staff development program. Responsibilities: - Participate on project teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, healthcare, and public assembly buildings - Eligible to participate in the in-house staff development program Required Qualifications: - A sound technical background - Strong communication skills - Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures - BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering - Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis - Excellent verbal and written communication skill - Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: - EIT preferred Required Skills: Civil Engineering Important Skills: EIT, Technical Background Nice-to-Have Skills: Enthusiasm Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefit packages
