Our Team Is the Heart of Our Business

Ready to build a skilled trade in a company with nearly 90 years of history? Walsworth started in 1937 as a family-owned printer of playbills and cookbooks in Marceline, Missouri. Today we're one of the top three yearbook printers in the country and a leading magazine printer. We're still family-owned, and we still focus on quality, innovation and taking care of our customers.

We're hiring a Bindery Assistant at our Fulton facility. You'll help produce high-quality magazines, catalogs and other printed products, and you'll get hands-on training on perfect binding and stitcher equipment. No bindery experience? No problem. If you're dependable, willing to learn and take pride in your work, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

• Follow Bindery Department policies, procedures and job tickets so every job is done right.
• Take direction from operators, leads and managers, and apply it to your daily work.
• Help troubleshoot basic machine and process issues to keep production moving.
• Meet or beat department production and efficiency goals.
• Do routine quality checks to make sure products are consistent, and record the results.
• Work closely with your team to keep things running smoothly and meet deadlines.

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and comfort using measuring tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to bend and walk often.

Why Walsworth?

• Hands-on training: learn equipment and skills that lead to a long-term career.
• Room to grow: develop your skills and move up in the printing industry.
• Stability: a family-owned company with a proud history and a strong future.
• Team culture: work with people who take pride in what they make together.
