PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Boost Sales: Use suggestive selling techniques to offer related items and accessories, driving multiple unit sales. Show Your Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of store products and services to build sales and enhance customer service. Efficient Transactions: Execute all systems and point of sales procedures smoothly and efficiently. Communicate Effectively: Engage with customers, fellow associates, and management with excellent communication skills. Hit Your Target: Achieve minimum monthly sales goals and be recognized for your success! Requirements QUALIFICATIONS **Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a retail furniture environment is preferred but not required if you have the right attitude and drive. Must be at least 18 years of age. Communication: Strong ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish a plus! Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with computer systems, programs and email. Resilience: Ability to work productively and effectively under stressful conditions such as; tight time frames and heavy workloads. Customer Focused: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle difficult customers with ease. Initiative: A proactive approach, independent thinking and the ability to implement new ideas. Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Active Role: At least one (1) year of retail sales experience is preferred but not required. Tech Skills: Proficient with computer systems. Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and experience. Education: High school diploma or GED PHYSICAL DEMANDS Active Role: Most of the time will be spent sitting, standing and walking long hours. Moderate Lifting: Occasionally lift and handle materials or equipment up to 20# with or without assistance.
