Upper West Side Pet Care Specialist… at Wags West LLC · New York

Wags West, the Upper West Side's premier family-owned pet care company, is seeking sharp, dependable, and self-motivated professionals for a structured, midday pet care position. You'll spend your days outdoors in two of New York's most beautiful parks, bonding with our happy neighborhood dogs on organized, easily walkable routes, always backed by a supportive team.

This position is highly selective and ideally suited for recent college graduates taking a gap year, or working creative professionals (writers, artists, actors, musicians, and freelancers) who possess exceptional time-management skills and desire a consistent, gratifying daytime income while pursuing their primary goals.

We are not looking for casual gig-workers. We want responsible, personable individuals who take pride in their work, communicate beautifully, and are passionate about giving grateful neighborhood pets the elite care and companionship they deserve.

Ideal Candidates:

• Background: Recent college graduates taking a gap year or disciplined creative professionals seeking a steady, reliable anchor for their schedule.
• Availability: Able to commit to a consistent Monday - Friday schedule between the hours of 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM for at least 9 months.
• Attributes: Exceptionally reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Skills: Clear, professional communicators who thrive in an autonomous field environment and enjoy being active outdoors in all weather.
• Community Focus: Proud to represent a premium brand within the local UWS community.

What We Offer:

• Steady, predictable midday schedule (M-F, 10am-4pm) leaving your mornings and evenings completely free.
• Weekly pay and a supportive, organized administrative team.
• A refreshing, active outdoor work environment in NYC's best parks.

How to Apply:

To be considered, please submit your resume and answer each screening question. Please introduce yourself by telling us about your educational background, gap-year goals, or current creative pursuits, and why a structured, high-responsibility outdoor role on the Upper West Side aligns with your current path.

> Please note: To ensure we are hiring a diligent team, incomplete applications or automated "one-click" submissions without answering the screening questions will not be reviewed.
