Internship, Compliance and Privacy Department at VSP Vision in Remote

Summary: VSP Vision is on a mission to help people see every possibility, and they are seeking a Compliance Intern to gain practical experience in the field of Compliance and Privacy. The intern will support the Compliance team in activities such as internal auditing, monitoring, and regulatory analysis. Responsibilities: - Auditing and testing to ensure alignment to prescribed regulatory requirements within the project parameters - Research and examine laws, regulations, and industry standards as it relates to the assigned project both federally and as per individual states - Analyze data and information to identify potential compliance issues or risks - Assist with the compilation of reports and documentation - Fulfill other tasks as assigned by supervisors Required Qualifications: - Strong analytical and research skills - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Strong process engineering skillset - Attention to detail and accuracy - Basic understanding of legal and ethical principles - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated and a team player - Independent worker with a willingness to learn - Outstanding organizational skills - Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace - Access to high-speed internet - Technology will be provided - 3rd year/4th year college - Degree Target: Healthcare Administration, Risk, Business, Accounting, Finance, etc - You must be able to work the full 10 weeks Required Skills: Analytical skills, Research skills, Process engineering Important Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
