We are Hiring Acturial Manager for a leading General Insurance Company

Should be from General Insurance or Broking Company

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Motor pricing models and pricing frameworks.

Conduct pricing studies, experience analyses, and portfolio performance reviews to support pricing decisions.

Support product and rate filings by preparing technical documentation and actuarial analyses.

Analyse policy and claims data to identify trends, assess portfolio performance, and recommend pricing actions.

Drive automation and continuous improvement of pricing processes and reporting.

Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Product, Finance, Reinsurance, and Business teams on pricing initiatives.

Lead pricing projects and mentor junior actuarial analysts.

Education and Actuarial Qualification

Bachelor's/masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics or another quantitative discipline.

Good progress towards actuarial qualification (IAI, IFoA, or equivalent). 710 actuarial examinations cleared preferred.

Experience

2 to 3 years of experience in General Insurance, preferably in Motor Pricing or Actuarial Analytics.

Experience in actuarial pricing, product/rate filings, portfolio management, and pricing governance.

Skills

Strong understanding of Motor insurance pricing, actuarial pricing methodologies, and Generalized Linear Models (GLMs). Good understanding of insurance financial metrics, portfolio profitability, reserving concepts, and regulatory requirements.

Hands-on experience with WTW Emblem, Radar. Proficiency in R, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
