Systems Engineer I - ISR at Voyager Technologies in Folsom, CA

The Systems Engineer I position is an entry-level role that involves working with technical peers on complex communications signal processing problems within the ISR domain, focusing on research and development of wireless communications protocols and systems. Responsibilities: - Research and develop functional understanding of classic, modern, or emerging wireless communications protocols and systems (e.g. AM/FM, DMR, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee) - Design and prototype software defined radio solutions for signal processing problems - Model and simulate wireless signals and RF propagation effects - Work with software development teams to develop, integrate, and test software defined radio systems - Perform testing and validation of ISR systems in the laboratory and outdoor facilities and test ranges Required Qualifications: - S.
