Summary: Voyager Technologies is an innovative defense, national security and space technology company committed to advancing and delivering transformative solutions. They are seeking highly motivated emerging talent for a 10-week immersive internship program focusing on preparing an internal image labeling tool for external customer use by improving its UX/UI and defining a clean delivery mechanism. Responsibilities: - Evaluate and redesign user workflows for clarity and ease of use - Implement UI improvements on the tool’s front end - Help design and test deployment and installation workflows - Create documentation and onboarding materials - Work with backend engineers to understand database and service dependencies Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; senior standing by fall 2026 - Experience with frontend development and UI frameworks - Understanding of basic UX principles and user-centered design - Familiarity with Python or web backend concepts - Basic knowledge of Docker and deployment workflows - Strong communication and documentation skills - Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship, coursework, or project experience Required Skills: Frontend development, UI frameworks Important Skills: UX principles, Python, Docker Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills, Documentation skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
