Job Description
Summary: Voya Financial is dedicated to fighting for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future. They are seeking an Enterprise Global Shared Services Operations Intern to provide project management and leadership support for critical initiatives, working both independently and collaboratively to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with project coordination
- Tracking progress, and communicating project status updates to stakeholders
- Proactively partner with business teams to help gather requirements, understand roadmaps
- Identify potential risks, and support problem‑solving efforts
- Leverage established governance processes and contribute to various initiatives related to risk management
Required Qualifications:
- Students enrolled in an accredited program
- Prior experience leading a project—particularly in a risk, compliance, or community/charitable setting
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum GPA of 3.2
- Self-motivated, excited about learning, comfortable working in a collaborative environment characterized by open sharing of feedback to achieve optimum outcomes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Detail oriented with solid analytical capabilities – being able to see things differently than others with substance and relevance
