Purchase Engineer at Volt-age Energy in Pune

Qualification
• B.E. Electrical Mandatory
• Candidates from other engineering streams will not be considered.

Experience
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in procurement of electrical components.

Salary
• 50,000 70,000 per month.
• Negotiable for a deserving candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for electrical components to ensure cost effectiveness and alignment with budget requirements.
• Procure materials as per project and site requirements.
• Study BOQs and identify, develop, and evaluate new vendors.
• Prepare comparison sheets, conduct price negotiations, finalize vendors, and negotiate purchase order terms, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure purchase orders comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Verify vendor documents such as Guaranteed Technical Particulars (GTP), drawings, type test reports, and Material Quality Plans after PO release.
• Ensure supplied materials comply with client specifications.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers for Third-Party Inspection, MSETCL inspection, and client inspection activities.
• Communicate daily with clients to plan procurement schedules as per site execution activities.
• Build strong client relationships through timely support, issue resolution, and procurement coordination.
• Coordinate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
• Assess company requirements for safe and smooth operations and optimize inventory accordingly.
• Prepare and submit monthly purchase budgets.
• Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely vendor payments.
