Job Description
Summary: VML, part of WPP, is a leading creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce. They are seeking a Production Coordinator Intern who will collaborate with the creative team on video projects, experiment with AI tools, and support various production tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on Video Projects: Work with the creative team to develop and execute video projects from concept to completion
- Edit & Produce Content: Edit and produce videos using footage, dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects to create compelling stories
- Explore AI in Production: Experiment with AI tools (e.g., Runway ML, Synthesia, or Adobe Sensei) to streamline video editing, enhance visuals, and optimize production workflows
- Assist with Production Tasks: Support video production, photography shoots, illustration, and sourcing/purchasing stock footage
- Stay Organized: Work within project timelines and budgets, ensuring all deliverables meet VML’s high standards of quality
- Research & Innovate: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new production techniques to inspire fresh ideas
- Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure projects run smoothly and meet expectations
Required Qualifications:
- You are a rising undergrad senior, a recent grad, or on a non-traditional path with a track record of delivering impact
- Must be 18+ with U.S. work authorization
- Must be available to work and learn throughout the entirety of the program
- An existing reel of work showcasing projects you've edited, projects you've helped produce or motion design work you've done
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
- Familiarity with photography production, stock footage sourcing, and illustration
- Basic knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Runway ML, Synthesia, Adobe Sensei) or a willingness to learn
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with studio production, sound design, or motion graphics
