The Software Engineer will be part of a multi-functional development team, responsible for inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a global customer base, while working on complex distributed systems and solving massive scale problems. Responsibilities: - Perform deep analysis of VISA's core revenues - Understand and interpret revenue data across more than 14+ grouped dimensions - Demonstrate passion for big data technologies (Hive & PySpark), shell Scripting, Python and refine 5+ petabytes data processing pipelines - Be part of the GARP Innovation Group and solve big data challenges with an innovative mindset - Understand the requirements, design, implement, test, deploy, and automate data processing workflows - Quickly fix bugs and unblock business operations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and recommendations - Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the leadership team Required Qualifications: - 0.6-2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 0.6-2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) Preferred Qualifications: - 0.6-2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 0.6-2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field - Proven experience in a similar role - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy - Proficient in big data technologies and tools - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly troubleshoot issues - Innovative mindset and ability to solve complex problems - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Skills: Big data technologies, Python, Data processing workflows Important Skills: Shell scripting, Analytical skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Problem-solving skills, Communication skills, Teamwork Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Wellness Program
