Job Description
The Manager, Cluster Benefits Champion manages defined benefit categories, partnerships and market initiatives across the Nordics and Baltics, supporting delivery of Visa’s European Premium and Affluent benefits strategy. The role translates agreed priorities into market plans and implementation workstreams, manages day-to-day partner activity, and drives coordinated delivery across local markets and European BCoE functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cluster and Market Planning
- Support development of the Nordics and Baltics benefits plan within the direction established by the European BCoE and cluster leadership.
- Translate agreed priorities into defined market, category and project plans.
- Conduct customer, issuer, competitor and market research and develop recommendations for assigned areas.
- Maintain a pipeline of benefit, partner and market-development opportunities.
- Provide structured market feedback and contribute to annual planning and portfolio reviews.
2. Partner Value Proposition Development
- Manage development and enhancement of assigned embedded and reseller benefit propositions.
- Assess proposition relevance against issuer requirements, customer needs and market conditions.
- Coordinate local-market input into proposition design and customer journeys.
- Document requirements, assumptions, dependencies and expected outcomes.
- Escalate material investment requirements and roadmap conflicts to the appropriate cluster or European owner.
3. Partnership and Commercial Management
- Identify and assess prospective partners for assigned categories or markets.
- Manage partner sourcing and evaluation activity within agreed parameters.
- Manage defined partner relationships and routine commercial and operational matters.
- Support complex negotiations through commercial analysis, options and business-case inputs.
- Track partner commitments and performance, escalating material commercial or contractual issues.
4. Customer Experience and Product Delivery
- Document market, partner and customer requirements for assigned propositions.
- Support design and review of enrolment, access, redemption and servicing journeys.
- Coordinate integration requirements, user acceptance testing and market-readiness activity.
- Track dependencies and product enhancements affecting assigned initiatives.
- Provide structured input to European roadmap discussions and escalate material customer and partner issues.
5. Programme Delivery and Market Enablement
- Manage implementation plans for assigned benefits, partners and market launches.
- Coordinate milestones, actions, dependencies and risks across internal functions and external partners.
- Support benefit playbook development, issuer enablement materials and proposition content.
- Coordinate launch-readiness reviews, partner activation and post-launch adoption actions.
- Capture implementation lessons and share relevant practices across the Nordics and Baltics.
6. Supplier Governance, Performance and Stakeholders
- Coordinate supplier onboarding, contracting, due diligence and risk-assessment activity.
- Maintain supplier records, governance documentation, action logs and routine operational reporting.
- Monitor service levels, cardholder issues, issuer adoption, utilisation and commercial performance.
- Prepare project, portfolio and partner updates and recommend corrective actions.
- Build effective working relationships across Nordic and Baltic market teams and European BCoE functions.
- Coordinate working groups, communicate risks and decisions clearly, and retain responsibility for follow-through.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years relevant experience in product management, partnerships, commercial development, programme delivery or benefits-related roles.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects, partner activity or market launches.
- Strong analytical and commercial capability, including business-case or partner-evaluation experience.
- Understanding of customer propositions, loyalty, cardholder benefits, financial services, payments or adjacent industries.
- Experience managing external partners or suppliers.
- Strong planning, stakeholder-management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail in a matrixed organisation.
- Fluency in English; Nordic or Baltic language capability is beneficial.
