Position Overview:
The Supply Room Attendant is responsible for managing and organizing the supply room to ensure that all necessary items are readily available for staff. This role involves maintaining inventory, distributing supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the closet. The Supply Room Attendant is also responsible for maintaining inventory of the supply room ensuring that supplies are regularly stocked. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional commitment to safety, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
Specific Duties:
- Organize and maintain the supply room, ensuring all items are neatly stored and easily accessible.
- Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Distribute supplies to staff as needed, ensuring they have the necessary items to perform their duties.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the supplies closet.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols.
Essential Job Functions
Qualifications:
- Organize and maintain the supply room, ensuring all items are neatly stored and easily accessible.

Education and/or Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Supply Room experience preferred.
Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from personnel inside and outside the company.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize workload.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To perform assigned duties the following will occur: Standing on one’s feet for long periods of time, walking, and lifting. The employee is regularly required to sit/stand, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
