Position Summary
Village Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. As the Human Resources Generalist, you will oversee the full recruitment and onboarding process while supporting employee relations, compliance, performance management, payroll and benefits administration, and day-to-day HR operations. You will work closely with leadership to attract top talent, foster employee engagement, and ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Village Behavioral Health's mission of providing quality behavioral health services. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies. • Work closely with the Recruiter and HR Support team to coordinate hiring efforts, onboarding activities, employee communications, and HR initiatives • Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed. • Manage and maintain onboarding trackers, ensuring all new hire documentation, training, credentialing, and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on schedule. • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in BambooHR. • Support employee relations by responding to HR inquiries and assisting with workplace concerns. • Assist with payroll processing, benefits of administration, leave management, and employment verifications. • Monitor employee certifications, training requirements, and compliance with DBHDS and company standards. • Coordinate performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee development initiatives. • Help cultivate a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture. • Support HR projects and continuous process improvements as Village Behavioral Health continues to grow. Qualifications • Previous Human Resources experience preferred, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, or HR administration. • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a regulated environment is a plus. • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems required; BambooHR and ADP experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations principles. • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with managers and employees across the organization.
Work Schedule & Location • In-office position based at Village Behavioral Health • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Hybrid flexibility is available after training, with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week based on performance and business needs.
