Summary: Vertiv is on a mission to empower the people that will power the future, and they are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their mechanical design engineering team as a mechanical design Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in product design and development, allowing interns to collaborate with experienced engineers on various projects while receiving mentorship and guidance. Responsibilities: - Assist in mechanical design and documentation of Vertiv power distribution, static switch, and remote power panel products - Must have an eagerness to grow personally and professionally - Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs – have a passion for new information, knowledge, and experiences - Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently - Ensure effective and efficient completion of projects by planning and implementing courses of action with other functions and key stakeholders - Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned Required Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality work - Collaboration and teamwork Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Analytical Thinking, Willingness to Learn Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
