Summary: Vertiv is seeking an Electronics Design Intern to support the design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies. This role offers hands-on experience with schematic entry, PCB layout, component placement, soldering, and functional testing in a collaborative engineering environment. Responsibilities: - Assist in the assembly and rework of PCBAs using soldering tools and inspection equipment - Design circuits and schematics to provide solutions to product and test requirements - Support engineers in testing and validating electronic circuits and systems - Document test results, issues, and rework procedures - Help maintain lab equipment and ensure ESD-safe practices - Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability and testability Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field - Basic understanding of electronic components and circuit design - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn - Good communication and teamwork skills Required Skills: Circuit design, PCB layout, Soldering Important Skills: Electronic components Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
