Summary: Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, AI-powered platform. They are seeking an iOS Engineering intern to support the mobile application lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features. Responsibilities: - Support the entire mobile application lifecycle (concept, design, test, and release) in a fast paced environment for both existing and new mobile applications - Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to elaborate, design, and implement new features - Work in iterative sprints to design, develop, and test solutions - Build automation and tests to streamline development Required Qualifications: - Ability to work at Verkada HQ during Fall 2026 (proposed internship dates: August 31 to December 18) - Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science (or similar degree plan) - Proficient understanding Swift and iOS SDK - Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code - Experience working with backend server APIs - Solid UI development and unit testing skills - Solid understanding of fundamental Computer Science concepts - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well alongside engineers of all levels Required Skills: Swift, iOS SDK, Multi-threaded programming, Asynchronous programming, Backend server APIs, UI development, Unit testing, Computer Science fundamentals Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall Benefits: After 90 days of active employment, interns are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
