Summary: Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, AI-powered platform. They are seeking software engineering interns to join their team, where interns will work on building product experiences across their Command web platform and mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: - Build best in class product experiences across our Command web platform (React) and mobile applications (React Native) - Comfortable leading whole projects from design to implementation - Work cross-functionally with product, design, and the engineering team to create features which delight users and customers Required Qualifications: - Ability to work at Verkada HQ during fall 2026 (proposed internship dates: August 31 to December 18) - Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study and graduating by June 2027 - Internship experience developing and launching products - Experience building reusable components, utilizing CSS pre-processors and building pixel perfect user interfaces - Proficient understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript, including contexts, prototypes/classes and closures - Experience working with a modern web framework such as Angular.js, React or Vue - Eye for design, product details, and polish Required Skills: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Angular.js, Vue, CSS pre-processors, Frontend development, Building reusable components, Pixel perfect user interfaces, Eye for design, Attention to product details, polish Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall Benefits: We do sponsor and take over sponsorship of employment visas for this role.
