Summary: Vercel is a company that provides developers with tools and cloud infrastructure for building a faster web. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support the accounting close process as they prepare to operate as a public company. Responsibilities: - Support the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of assigned areas, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis - Responsible for accounting activities related to cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intangibles - Provide detailed reports and analyses to internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and decision-making - Assist in responding to audit requests.
