Associate Technical Consultant
Location: Pune, India
Job Title: Associate Technical Consultant
Key Responsibilities
Support validation and processing of encounter data (837P/837I)
Perform data quality checks and resolve submission errors
Assist with system configuration, data mapping, and integrations
Support testing and ensure HIPAA/X12 compliance
Act as a point of contact for clients on data issues and requirements
Monitor submission status, error trends, and data quality metrics
Maintain documentation and support audit readiness
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0–2 years of experience in healthcare IT, payer systems, or data management
Basic understanding of healthcare data standards (HIPAA 5010, X12, 837 transactions)
Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools (preferred)
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage or CMS processes (a plus)
Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Good communication and client-facing skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
