Are you an experienced nursing leader with a strong background in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, and NICU? This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your leadership career and make a meaningful impact across Women’s Services.
As the Nursing Director – Obstetrics, you’ll partner closely with the CNO and hospital leadership to oversee nursing practice, clinical operations, staff development, patient safety, and quality outcomes across assigned services.
What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Obstetrics & Women’s Services
- Oversee L&D, Mother/Baby, NICU, and related patient care services
- Ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Lead, mentor, develop, and support nursing teams
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing, resources, and departmental operations
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary leadership
- Serve as a strong advocate for patients, families, and the nursing profession
- Support the CNO in achieving organizational and clinical goals
Requirement:
- BSN required
- Active RN license
- 2+ years of progressive hospital management experience as a Nurse Manager or Director
- Strong experience in Women’s Services, including:
- Labor & Delivery
- Mother/Baby or Postpartum
- NICU
- AHA BLS certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and operational skills
Preferred
- MSN, MBA, or related Master’s degree
- Experience with high-acuity patients, NICU, and complex cases
- Proven success in quality improvement, staff development, and clinical operations
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $129,000.00 per year
